About the Role
Join our Client Experience team as we enhance service delivery for our valued clients across Western Australia. Reporting to Lisa Kwan, Client Experience & Marketing Manager, you'll be the first point of contact for our high-net-worth individuals, SME owners, and corporate clients, ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to personalised financial advice.
As part of a close-knit team of three in our Client Experience department, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the trusted relationships that have defined Southern Cross Financial since 2011. This position offers excellent exposure to the financial services industry and opportunities to develop your career within our growing firm.
Key Responsibilities
Client Communication & Support - Serve as the primary point of contact for client enquiries via phone, email, and in-person visits - Schedule appointments and manage calendars for our financial planning team - Coordinate client meetings and prepare meeting rooms with necessary documentation - Follow up on client requests and ensure timely resolution of enquiries
Document Management & Administration - Maintain accurate client files and ensure compliance with ASIC record-keeping requirements - Process new client onboarding documentation and KYC procedures - Prepare and distribute client statements, reports, and correspondence - Assist with the preparation of client review meetings and annual portfolio reports
Operational Support - Support the Client Experience team with marketing initiatives and client events - Maintain client database accuracy and generate reports as required - Coordinate with our compliance team to ensure all client interactions meet regulatory standards - Provide backup support for reception duties when required
What You'll Bring
Essential Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, or related field - Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional telephone manner - Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook - Customer service experience, preferably in a professional services environment
Desirable Qualifications - Previous experience in financial services, banking, or professional services - Understanding of financial products and services - Experience with CRM systems and document management platforms - Knowledge of compliance requirements in financial services
Personal Attributes - Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise multiple tasks - Professional presentation and interpersonal skills - Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement - Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a small team
